Brian was saved at a DC Talk concert in 1999 and started attending Venice Bible Church. In 2002, he went on his first mission trip to Romania. In 2003 he started training to be a missionary and in 2004 was sent by his Church on mission. He arrived in the nation of Georgia in 2004. In 2005, he married Maia and had two children with her over the years as they settled into youth ministry, evangelism, and church planting. In 2017, the Wolf family moved to the US, where in 2019, Brian came on board with Bible Basics International and helped relaunch the ministry as MissioSERVE Alliance. He currently serves there as Director of Missionary Development training missionaries and the churches that send them to be successful in their chosen mission.
